v3.17.9 - (24 January, 2012) Current Release for SS9000X

Update to allow download of updated and new courses to the SS9000X.

v3.17.8 - (11 January, 2012) Current Release for 8800, 8850, 8850X

Update to SS9000X application.
When plugged into computer the unit switches automatically to Mass Storage mode.
Daylight saving bug fix.

v3.17.7 - (8 January, 2012)

Release to enable course updates for the SS9000X. All SS9000X users must upgrade to this version.

v3.17.6 - (21 December, 2011)

Release to support the new SS9000X. All SS9000X users must upgrade to this version.
Bug fix for v3.17.5, v3.17.4 and v3.17.3. Please refer to Important Note below if you have downloaded and are using these versions.

Important Note: If you attempt to upgrade to version 3.17.6 from v3.17.5, v3.17.4 or v3.17.3, after downloading the upgrade file an error will be displayed stating

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

To resolve the problem, make sure sureanalysis™ is not running and then do the following depending on the operating system you are using:

Windows XP and Windows 2000: Start 'Control Panel' from the Windows Start Icon and then click 'Add or Remove Programs'.Scroll down until you see the entry 'sureanalysis version 3.17', right click the entry and then click 'Remove'. When prompted click 'Yes' to remove the program. /p>

Windows Vista and Windows 7: Start 'Control Panel' from the Windows start Icon and then click 'Uninstall a program' from the Programs Icon.Scroll down until you see the entry 'sureanalysis version 3.17', right click the entry and then click 'Uninstall'. If prompted click 'Yes' to uninstall the program.

Click here to go to the www.sureshotgps.com downloads page and then click the 'download software' button. Depending on the browser you use you may be prompted to download the file. After the download is completed double click the downloaded file 'sureanalysis.exe' and follow the prompts to install the new version of sureanalysis™.

Important Note: If you attempt to upgrade to version 3.14.5 from 3.14.3, after downloading the upgrade file an error will be displayed stating "This installation package could not be opened".

To resolve the problem, make sure sureanalysis is not running and then do the following depending on the operating system you are using.

Windows XP and Windows 2000: Go to the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\sureshotgps\upgrade folder and double click the file called setup_sa_3_14_5.msi.

Windows Vista and Windows 7: Go to the C:\Users\All Users\sureshotgps\upgrade folder and double click the file called setup_sa_3_14_5.msi.

Follow the prompts to install the new version of sureanalysis.

Support for Windows 7 32 and 64 bit versions.
Faster downloads of courses into the sureshotgps unit.
Multiple courses can now be selected from the web database list on the course download page and then downloaded to sureshotgps. Select the first course and then use the shift key to highlight a block of courses, or the Ctrl key to select random courses.
Multiple courses can now be selected from the sureshotgps data list on the course download page and then deleted by clicking the Delete Course button. Select the first course and then use the shift key to highlight a block of courses, or the Ctrl key to select random courses.
After clicking the Search button on the course download page, you can automatically scroll the web database course list by pressing a letter key on the keyboard. Note that if you click a course in the sureshotgps data or click the text box for the optional course name you will have to click and highlight a course name in the web database for this function to work.
Fixed a bug where games for the 100th stored course would be corrupted.

Important Note: To enable the automatic download of new sureanalysis versions and the country/regions database on Windows Vista and Windows 7 sureanalysis must run as an administrator. Go to the C:\Programs File\sureshotgps\sureanalysis folder and right click sureanalysis.exe. Click the Compatibility tab and then check the "Run this program as an administrator" check box and click Apply.
